My name is Renu Bissanti, and my journey with food started years ago right at home. I learned through tradition, family, and a passion for feeding others. Cooking Thai food was my way of staying connected to my roots and expressing love.
The name Boon Choo is my father’s first name, and in Thai, it means “the one who is uplifted by merit.”
When the world changed during COVID, I kept cooking, right here in Sharon. People needed comfort, and I found purpose in providing it through warm, home-cooked meals.
That love spilled over into the community through Yai’s Kitchen, our beloved food truck and Yai’s kitchen in Norton MA. We hit the streets with Thai street food favorites, serving bold flavors and heartfelt hospitality. It was a celebration of food, family, and resilience.
Now, all those chapters come together at Boon Choo Thai Kitchen. Here, we serve authentic Thai food just the way we feed our family.
